Our Story

In early 2019, Fleetpin was approached by Pamu Farms of New Zealand to assist in providing a safety system for their farm vehicles to prevent rollover incidents from occurring and encourage safer operation of their vehicles.

Pamu required alerts to be sent to selected recipients in the event of an incident, control over and reduction of false alerts being sent, and the ability for vehicle operators to send alerts from remote locations outside mobile phone coverage areas.

Following many months of research and development in partnership with invested interest and investment from Pamu, Fleetpin developed the solution; Safetrax.

Safetrax is a purpose built roll over warning and critical alerting system specifically designed for quad bikes, side-by-sides, and other farm vehicles. Safetrax prevents incidents from occurring by detecting rollover situations before they happen, along with assisting operators in an emergency.

The Fleetpin GPS tracking device will record and report on each occasion (in real-time) when the rollover warning is triggered or if harsh driving and/or a roll is detected. Managers are able to proactively manage the Health and Safety of their teams, providing further training or suspend operators for dangerous driving behaviour, to promote safe driving and operation of farming vehicles.

As a subsidiary to Fleetpin, Safetrax is accessible to Fleetpin customers as an added feature to their standard monthly GPS fleet tracking subscription.
